 <note>The implementation of religious moderation must start from an early age, because this age&#13;
is very appropriate for basic education to become a must in getting used to the values of&#13;
religious coderation. Currently the values of religious moderation can be applied to&#13;
Islamic basic education institutions, namely the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ) with a&#13;
large framework of religious moderation. The purpose of this study is to examine the&#13;
implementation of religious moderation values through Qur'an recitation activities at TPQ&#13;
AL-Ma’had An Nur Bantul, one of the TPQs located in Pasir Lor Village, Karanglewas&#13;
District. Datacollection was carried out by observation and by interviewing the ustadz or&#13;
teacher at TPQ AL-Ma’had An Nur Bantul. The results of the research are: through the&#13;
Qur'an recitation activities carried out at TPQ AL-Ma’had An Nur Bantul can build&#13;
religious understanding for children or TPQstudents to become more moderate and can&#13;
strengthen religious moderation since childhood. Teaching and reciting the Koran&#13;
activities at TPQ are to build awareness that leads and reflects the values of religious&#13;
moderation by requiring habituation and example.</note>
